Since 1981, the Directors’ Guild of the Philippines, Inc. (DGPI) has championed Filipino film and television directors, advocating for their rights and welfare while helping advance the craft and the Philippine audiovisual industry.
In this special collaboration, Linya-Linya and DGPI celebrate the directors behind the stories that entertain us, challenge us, move us, and help us understand who we are.
Stories of love and loss, family and friendship, struggle and triumph, and the realities of Filipino life. Stories that document our times, reflect our society, preserve our culture, and allow Filipino voices to be seen and heard.
